Multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and electronica sensation Robert DeLong (US) has revealed his fourth studio album PLAYLIST of DOOM. His first album with Round Hill Records, PLAYLIST of DOOM is a reflection of Robert Delong’s true identity as an artist.
DeLong shared, “I started doing this in my twenties, and I was very young and at the beginning of my life. I feel evolved from the person I was. I feel good about making music and being part of a record label that reflects where I am and who I am today. It all just feels right.”
LISTEN TO ‘PLAYLIST of DOOM’
Featuring already released tracks “Deserve It All”, “soft boy” and “SLOWLY”, the album introduces us to seven brand new tracks. PLAYLIST of DOOM incorporates elements of funk, electronica, punk, pop, and alt- rock, resulting in an eclectic album reflecting DeLong’s varied influences.
Robert has a self-proclaimed obsession with dub, breakbeat, jungle and the songwriting of ‘90s alternative music and early ‘00s Seattle indie. He nods to classic songwriters like Tom Petty, David Byrne and Depeche Mode as well as more modern artists like Gloomer, Post Malone, Pugilist and Om Unit.
PLAYLIST of DOOM covers a wide scope of topics including self-image, burn out, heartbreak and self-destructive behaviours. Throughout the album, DeLong struggles with the demands of the modern world whilst endeavouring to find joy in it wherever he can.

Breaking out in 2013 with his debut album Just Movement, his track “Global Concepts” took Australia by storm, marking the first country for the single to reach platinum status. His affinity down under continued with show-stopping sets at Splendour In The Grass in 2013, Groovin the Moo in 2014 and a national tour in 2019, as well as a highly revered triple j Like A Version of CHVRCHES’ track “The Mother We Share”. With plenty of musical friends in Australia, Robert has collaborated with the likes of Flight Facilities and Peking Duk.
In the years since, his 2015 single “Long Way Down” peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. Alternative chart and became his biggest streaming track to date on Spotify, boasting over 170 million streams on Spotify and 30 million views on YouTube. He released two more albums and two EPs, along with several notable singles, including 2018’s “Favourite Colour Is Blue,” which featured K. Flay, and 2021’s “Did It To Myself,” featuring Lights.
His alt-electronica anthems have seen him hit some of the biggest festival stages including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands and Reading and Leeds, captivating fans with his dynamic, frenzied live performances.
Currently touring around the US with Adelaide alt-rock band Atlas Genius, 2024 has been a massive year for Robert DeLong

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
