Kaytetye producer and DJ RONA. releases her new EP It’s All Here, via her own imprint Rarre Records. A bold sonic and visual experience, the collection confronts conversations on the contemporary race to space with generations of knowledge embedded in culture and Country. Anchored in Indigenous futurism, it is a call to journey inward, to evolve with the wisdom and connection to Country that has guided the oldest living civilisation in the world.
RONA. comments on the project; “It’s All Here is a sonic journey that juxtaposes the contemporary race to space with the profound knowledge and wisdom embedded within ourselves and within Country (nature). The EP challenges the idea that the future lies somewhere out there in the stars in distant galaxies, instead, it calls us to turn inward, to remember that everything we need is already here: in ourselves, in each other, and in relationships in place.
This body of work integrates storytelling from a returning to place, soundscapes from Country and electronic production to create a rich tapestry of sound and storytelling, cultural, futuristic and emotionally resonant.”
Introducing the EP is “Show Me”, RONA.’s gently growing club offering framed by layered vocal samples, intricate beat movements and rhythmic recordings grounded in the desert. With its deep bass heartbeat, “Before” bends between heavy club and more tranquil sections, while vocal layers echo the importance of what came before us. “Mars” presents a convergence of interplanetary electronic soundscapes and RONA.’s earthy, deeply cultural sonic fingerprint, sharing a unique analysis of our future worlds and a profound perspective of hope and resilience in widely uncertain times.
A track that moves both the body and the soul, “The Blacks” draws awareness to that which has been lost from many First Nations cultures today, while dually celebrating the staying power of the community. Strikes of synths and drum and bass beats interjected with natural recordings spurn this call to attention, before “Apmere” unfurls an atmospheric yet pulsating cut spearheaded by rhythmic clapsticks. The title track, “It’s All Here” perfectly brings the EP together, weaving a myriad of textures and sounds into a rich electronic manifesto. Morphing between cinematic soundscapes of crisp, drawn out synths, urgent jabs of gritty bass, softer interludes and sonic chimes atop pulsating beats, it’s a warming homage to Country, community and connection.
The accompanying video was created in collaboration with Mikaela Stafford (3D animation design), who says: “For RONA.’s release, I set out to create a visual set that felt expansive and exploratory, as these qualities are what I enjoy and admire the most in her music and in ‘It’s All Here’ as a title track. You always feel like you’ve been taken on a journey, so this idea guided my approach. I wanted to complement the energy with vibrant colour schemes, abstract biomorphic forms and fluid motion.”

To celebrate its arrival, RONA. is taking the EP on a tour of club venues and festivals across the country, including stops at Wulgurukaba Country’s (Townsville) North Australian Festival of Arts, Wareamah’s (Cockatoo Island) Mode Festival, Bundjalung Country’s (Byron Bay) Haven, Naarm’s (Melbourne) Sub Club, Tarntanya’s (Adelaide) Ancient World, Boorloo’s (Perth) Lubly Dae presents lublybok and a special appearance at Meredith Music Festival, along with sets at New Year festivals Beyond The Valley and Wildlands – see full list of tour dates here.
Since her breakout 2022 release Closure and successive singles such as 2023’s “Aperleye” and 2024’s“Raise It” and “Burn It” feat. KYE, RONA. has emerged as a force in electronic music, building a catalogue that channels the deep storylines she’s connected to. Honouring the legacy of her ancestors, RONA. masterfully explores rhythm, sovereignty in sound and oral storytelling in evolving ways through her work, while continuing to push sonic boundaries and amplify movements for First Nations justice and liberation. Her releases have garnered praise from triple j, Double J, The Music, FBi Radio, Mixmag, The Guardian, Triple R and many more.
A mainstay on the festival circuit in so-called Australia, RONA. has left her mark on several major festivals including Laneway, Pitch Music & Arts and Splendour in the Grass, as well as community-run festivals such as Strawberry Fields and Sonder. Swiftly gaining the attention of big name musical peers, she has supported the likes of Mall Grab, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Overmono and Pretty Girl, plus has made festival and club appearances alongside Four Tet, Leon Vynehall, John Hopkins, Chaos in the CBD and more. 2025 has seen RONA. co-headlined a sold-out show at Naarm/Melbourne’s Town Hall a part of the RISING Festival, alongside fellow powerhouse DJ PGZ, plus completed a run of overseas performances including her debut London show. Her music was recently featured at London’s TateModern as part of their Tate Lates program, accompanying an exhibition honouring the work of Anmatyerr artist Emily Kam Kngwarray.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
