ARIA charting singer songwriter Rose Carleo and her zealous new band unleash their debut single ‘Battle Scars’, on March 23, 2018. The days of the blues laced country rock tunes have taken a not-so-subtle change of direction and now the Rose Carleo Band channel their heavy, blues, inner rock roots.
Described as a modern day Janis Joplin, Rose Carleo’s ferociously powerful vocals, backed by gutsy guitars, driving bass and primal beats of four-on-the-floor grooves, take you on a dynamic journey which is truly something to experience.
‘Battle Scars’, a digital release, was written by the band and is an account of realisation, acceptance and forging ahead. The physical and emotional scars will always be there as reminders of the past but they can also be catalysts for newfound motivations and life-changing decisions to make for a more bearable future.
Rose Carleo Band seamlessly fuse the elements of riffs, grooves, melody and infectious hooks to create a sound that brings a modern-day edge to the genre made famous by acts such as Free, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin et al.
The Rose Carleo Band is Rose Carleo (Vocals/guitar), Mick Adkins (guitar), Steve King (Bass) and Mick O’Shea (Drums).

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
