Exciting, exclusive music performances, fashion giveaways, awesome retro arcade games, a killer dance comp and even shootin’ a few hoops, are all part of Russell Athletic and Laneway Festival’s partnership in fun – The Locker Room.
Russell Athletic is the inventor of the original sweat and pioneer of American Sportswear apparel. We’ve been dressing creative crews for the street for more than 100 years.
Laneway Festival is one of Australia’s most beloved festivals, a showcase of essential international music, built on collaboration and self-expression. It is the perfect environment for The Locker Room.
We’re inviting anyone who loves fashion, music, and fresh, designed casual gear for the street to get their top team together and get into The Locker Room.
Only in The Locker Room will you be able to hear exclusive performances from a rising-star, local hip- hop artist and MC, Jordan Dennis and dance floor-filling hip hop and house from the exceptional NAM.
There’ll also be a “Dance to Win” comp, with the most creative moves getting the sickest prizes. The Locker Room will be a unique and exciting experience for Melbourne music and fashion fans, a festival within a festival.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
