“Sitting somewhere in between a more upbeat James Blake number and a more down-tempo Flume single along the lines of Some Minds.” – Hayden, Pilerats
Sydney producer – Sakr is back with his second single, Lost Steps. A follow up from his debut single – Home Again.

The Sydney artist who has found himself on the other side of the recording booth in recent years with a string of hugely successful productions for acts such as G-Flip, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy – has channelled his inner demons to create an indie electro track that delves into anxiety, loss and finding your way back.
“Lost Steps is written about my relationship with anxiety
and the way I let it take hold of me. The struggle of feeling
alone in those anxious moments, hours, days, weeks,
months and years. Where you feel like your whole body
and consciousness is laying still on thin ice and even the
slightest pressure whether it be from yourself or an
external source shatters it. Lost Steps is a sonic capture
of those moments I have falling through that ice, and
searching for the surface.“ – SAKR
Lost Steps is accompanied by an immersive live performance video of a brooding Sakr, looking more than at home behind an arrayment of Synthesisers.
The second single from Sakr – Lost Steps – was recorded in Sydney, Australia and mixed by George Nicholas.

AMNPLIFY- DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
