Today, global hitmaker Sam Smith celebrates their debut at the top of the ARIA National Album chart with Gloria, the second ARIA #1 album of their career (after their debut LP In The Lonely Hour). Previous albums The Thrill Of It All (2017) and Love Goes (2020) debuted at #2 and #3 respectively in Australia.
Sam also celebrates the ARIA #1 single “Unholy” achieving triple platinum status in Australia, as it spends a 17th week in the Top 5 of the ARIA Singles Chart. The chart topping single featuring Kim Petras charted at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a total of five non-consecutive weeks, their second single since “Too Good At Goodbyes” to reach a #1 peak.
The video for the new single “I’m Not Here To Make Friends” feat. Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez is currently trending Top 3 in Australia on the YouTube Trending charts (Music). The single also debuts at #13 on the AU Radio Monitor Airplay Chart.

Multi-Platinum, GRAMMY®, BRIT, Golden Globe and Academy Award winning artist/songwriter Sam Smith is one of the most celebrated musical artists to emerge in recent history, and holds a collection of remarkable successes. Gloria is Sam’s fourth studio album and will build on the success of their critically acclaimed 2020 predecessor, Love Goes. Sam Smith has enjoyed 38 million album sales, 283 million single sales and 51 billion career streams. Their multi-platinum debut album In the Lonely Hour became the biggest selling debut album of the decade. Sam and their exceptional vocals have collaborated with artists such as Calvin Harris on international smash ‘Promises’, Normani with the much-loved R&B hit ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ and the African superstar Burna Boy for ‘My Oasis’. Sam Smith holds two Guinness World Records – for the most consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 Album Chart (for their 2014 debut, In The Lonely Hour) and for having the first James Bond Theme to reach No.1 on the UK Charts (for the Oscar and Golden Globe winning “Writing’s on the Wall”).
Sam will kick off their world tour in the UK and host two nights in London’s O2 Arena, traveling across Europe, North America, and completing the tour with their Australian and New Zealand dates (listed below).
Gloria is Sam’s most confident and creatively fulfilled version of themselves to date. Their courageous spirit overflows throughout the album, expressive and exuberant in equal measure. The juxtaposition of religion and sexual liberation within Gloria feels like a second coming of age, as they step into their truth.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
