“EVERYTHING HURTS”
featuring DAVID RYAN HARRIS
The remedial anthem for heartache
– today
.
.
We’ve all experienced the Friday funs & the Sunday sads, right? Totally relatable. I went from super high on Friday to super sad on Sunday. Everything hurts and I wish there was a pill I could take for heartache. I thought 2022 was rough but 2023 came in serving me a punch like I’ve never experienced before and honestly I’m so ready for this year to be over, I’ve prepared a parting gift.
My name is Therese – I’m a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter and I wrote a song called “Everything Hurts” (out December 1) that is my remedial soundtrack to life’s emotional whiplash.

Produced by David Gungor (The Brilliance) featuring my friend, the incomparable David Ryan Harris (John Mayer, Dave Matthews) on lead guitar and Terence F. Clark (Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow) on percussion, “Everything Hurts” tugs on the vulnerable topic of mental health & more personally, the extreme emotional polarities I face as an independent musician. “Everything hurts & I’m dying” we all know and love the meme – now here’s the song.
The music video for “Everything Hurts” was shot & directed by Jake Dahm in Los Angeles. His content has amassed millions of views & his work with Leo Messi x Adidas, Hunter Hayes and Ikonick x Nasa has earned him international recognition. It was an honor to work with Jake on this passionate piece.

About Therese Curatolo:
Therese Curatolo is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, globally acclaimed vocalist that lights up any room with her effervescent energy, charisma and retro vibe. Therese prides herself on her honest approach to songwriting, and her music has been described as retro Americana reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac and John Mayer. She has lent her voice to several established groups, such as Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, Scary Pockets, and Cirque du Soleil, touring worldwide and amassing over 3,000,000 Spotify streams and 15,000,000 views on YouTube. Fans of her work with Scary Pockets and Postmodern Jukebox have called her a “singing pogo stick,” “a powerhouse” and a “vocal chameleon.” Therese has established herself as an artist on the rise singing alongside soul legends Stevie Wonder and Martha Reeves. Through the years, her versatile vocal power has taken her from the Metropolitan Opera to the big screen and iconic venues, like The Hollywood Bowl. Currently on tour with Scary Pockets (with David Ryan Harris) and working with artists like Darren Criss, Lawrence & Niall Horan, Therese’s next venture is releasing her body of work. She released singles Tokyo and Babe in 2020, channeling `80s nostalgia and flirtatious energy closely followed by Braille & Unrequited Love in 2021. A pivot from the pining bops, this era is deep & brutally honest. “Everything Hurts” is the next chapter in her retro chronicles and the third release from her debut EP, as she continues to transport fans back in time with a fresh take on familiar sounds. AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
