Canadian singer-songwriter Scott Helman will perform two intimate shows on his first ever Australian visit next month! Helman will perform at Sydney’s OAF Gallery on Wednesday 14th February followed by Melbourne’s The Toff on Friday 16th February. Tickets are on sale now.
Helman’s infectious new single PDA, is the latest cut from his debut full-length album, Hôtel de Ville. Hôtel de Ville channels musical influences as diverse as Arcade Fire, The Cure, Bon Iver and Bruce Springsteen, and places Helman at the centre of cutting-edge guitar-driven pop.

Scott Helman has shared the stage with fellow Canadians Tegan & Sara, Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara, supported Walk Off The Earth on their extensive European and North American dates last year, and has two Juno Awards under his belt. His 2014 Canadian platinum-certified single, Bungalow, which has garnered close to 2 million YouTube views and is just shy of 10 million Spotify streams, thrust Helman into the spotlight and he hasn’t looked back! He has over 30 million Spotify streams across 6.1 million listeners worldwide.
By the end of 2015 Helman was named 2015’s first-ever winner of Spotify’s Emerge program – a 13 week contest with 12 other young emerging Canadian artists.
A star on the rise, and destined to be one of 2018’s most exciting up-and-coming artists, Scott Helman is not to be missed on his debut Australian dates this month!

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
