“They’re one of the few guitar bands with a fighting chance to catapult themselves up the festival line-up bills in no time. It’s going to be sweaty, chaotic and a whole lot of fun” – NME
“Their live shows have a real punch… consisting of out and out bangers. Sea Girls hit that sweet spot between fan-rousing anthems + personal lyricism” – CLASH MAGAZINE
“Sea Girls are taking the torch from guitar-pop pioneers, and telling stories with just as much strength” – LINE OF BEST FIT
“Sure, the huge choruses and huge hooks help, but the actual reason for Sea Girls’ success is that they know what it’s like to be young in 2022” – DORK

This week UK-based indie rock band Sea Girls share their new single ‘I Want You To Know Me’ and accompanying music video. Co-written and produced by Dan Bryer (Tom Grennan) and mixed by Matty Green (Dua Lipa), ‘I Want You To Know Me’ follows previous singles ‘Weekends & Workdays’ and ‘Young Strangers’, both released last year to critical acclaim. The track follows the announcement of the band’s third album Midnight Butterflies, set for release on 14th June via their new independent record label Alt. Records.
Their first release for 2024 taken from their forthcoming album Midnight Butterflies, ‘I Want You To Know Me’ draws on Sea Girls’ dexterous melodic affinity and is infused with their positive, catchy, life-affirming lyrics. It’s another piece of modern pop perfection from the fast-rising four-piece who continues to go from strength to strength, warming up their dedicated fan base for what will undeniably be their biggest year yet.
In January 2024, Sea Girls will be embarking on their first-ever Australian tour. The quartet will visit all major states, including Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Tickets are available via Sea Girls and Destroy All Lines. Tickets are available now via www.seagirls.net.
Sea Girls’ strongest work to date, Midnight Butterflies promises to be a true artistic statement. A joyous amalgamation of positive pop music for the 21st century, the record explores the personal and the universal and aims to make sense of the world, encouraging its listeners to move forward with positivity. With a plethora of revered industry names adorning the credits, Midnight Butterflies has been created in collaboration with some of the most renowned producers in the industry including Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles), Benjy Gibson (Fred Again…), Matt Schwartz (Yungblud, Dylan Fame), Rich Cooper (Rina Sawayama, CMAT) and The Nocturns (Mimi Webb) to name just a few.
Frontman Henry Camamile says of the record, “It feels and sounds like a fledgling band making their energetic untainted debut record. It’s super optimistic and euphoric. There was a huge freedom in making this record. It’s an exciting time for music across genres, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?”
Sea Girls roared onto the scene in 2017 and have never looked back. Their 2020 debut album Open Up Your Head and 2022 sophomore album Homesick both landed in the Top Three of the UK album charts. They have been staples on radio since day one, with multiple ‘Hottest Records’ at BBC Radio 1, playlisted tracks and sessions, and have received stellar reviews in NME, The Guardian, Dork, Clash, The Independent, and more. They’ve amassed over 220 million streams across DSPs, supported revered acts such as Foals, Arctic Monkey, and Louis Tomlinson, and have performed at Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds Festival, and Kendal Calling among others.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
