announced as special guest + Second Sydney date
sold outSecret Sounds is thrilled to announce that Naarm/Melbourne-based band Folk Bitch Trio will be joining Ben Howard on his upcoming Australian tour this month, kicking off with a sold-out show at Perth’s Astor Arena on Tuesday 21 May.
Born out of a mutual love for songwriting, rocking and the truth, Folk Bitch Trio are known for enrapturing audiences with their sensitive and thoughtful arrangements of three-part harmony. What started as an unserious collaboration between three friends has led to the trio sharing stages with acts such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Alex G (U.S), Julia Jacklin, Courtney Barnett and M.Ward (U.S). They have played festivals across the country, including Womad, Panama, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Riverboats, Boogie, Nine Lives, Queenscliff Music Festival among others, and have just returned from a triumphant series of showcases at SXSW in Austin.
This news comes as the second Sydney show of Ben Howard’s highly anticipated Australian tour officially sells out, leaving a very limited number of tickets available to his shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. Anyone wanting to witness Howard’s powerful live performance whilst he graces our shores is encouraged to act quickly. Head to secretsounds.com now to purchase.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
