SET TIMES RELEASED

With just under a week until the big shred-up, Shakafest are today announcing the set times for their one-day bash taking place at Broadwater Parklands. With two stages, the Main Stage and Rabbit Stage, the playing times have been curated to allow punters to catch plenty of acts and get rowdy across the 10-hour event.
Warming up the crowd are up-and-comers Bec Sandridge, Seaside and Clowns, who will provide tunes that are fitting for early-arvo beers. Moving along into the late afternoon session are the boisterous The Chats as well as Carmouflage Rose and IV League, followed by VOIID and Alex The Astronaut, soundtracking the sunset with juxtaposing sets.
Partying on into the main part of the night are Australian punk royalty Frenzal Rhomb, and modern indie acts Moaning Lisa and Last Dinosaurs. Surf-punks Good Doogs close out the Rabbit Stage with a bang, before hip-hop headliners Bliss n Eso ride the big wave home with a huge closing set.
Dickies take over the half pipe which showcases professional and amateur skateboarders shredding and flipping across the entire day.
Making it’s debut at the well-connected Southport Broadwater Parklands, public transport is available on the day and if gig-goers think they might have a few too many, a return trip from Miami Tavern to the event is going for $10pp. Keeping in mind, the killer afterparty takes place at Miami Shark Bar so this could be the perfect option for punters looking to keep on kicking.
This stoke-fest lands on the shores of Southport Broadwater Parklands Saturday 24th November so undecided peeps should grab their tickets soon for a day full of sweaty sun and hot tunes!

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
