Frontier Touring announce Aussie alt-rock duo Those Who Dream as openers for Short Stack’s upcoming Australian tour
Already announced is Between You & Me as special guests on all shows
11-date tour kicks off in Newcastle on Thursday 16 June

With the tour being a long time coming, Frontier Touring are excited to announce Aussie alt-rock duo Those Who Dream have been added to the line-up on Short Stack’s upcoming Australian dates. The creative project of brothers Josh and Cooper Meyer will open at all shows (exc. Newcastle/Canberra) when the rescheduled tour arrives this June and July after being forced to postpone multiple times in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The captivating energy and revealing lyrics of Those Who Dream has not only earned the acclaim of NME, Pop Buzz, Rock Sound and Alternative Press, but more importantly, a cult-like following across the world. Josh and Cooper are self-taught songwriters and producers – citing YouTube tutorials as a key contributor to their talent – with their debut EP Life in Cyan reaching #4 on Apple Music’s Rock charts and viral success on TikTok. They also dabble in filmmaking, 3D animation and design, with the sum of their combined talents best seen in the duo’s extravagant music video for their breakout single ‘Violet’ – cue the eerie and surreal visuals that emanate the ambience of an arthouse horror flick.

Fresh from supporting Mayday Parade on their Australian tour, Those Who Dream released their latest single ‘One Of My Kind’ in April 2022, with NME likening it to ‘the early industrial style of Nine Inch Nails, the bright pop of Carly Rae Jepsen and the swagger of Royal Blood.’ The track is accompanied by their signature trippy, cinematic music video and follows 2021 releases ‘Bubblegum’ and ‘Tension Headache’.
Short Stack, comprising of Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb, made their mark on the Australian rock scene with their debut album Stack Is The New Black in August 2009. Stack Is The New Black received Gold certification and peaked at #1 on the ARIA Charts. Just over a year later the band dropped its Platinum Certified Planets EP in September 2010, followed by its second Gold-certified album This Is Bat Country in November 2010.

Last month the band released their 10-track fourth studio album, Maybe There’s No Heaven (available through UNFD) and spawned the singles ‘Burn You Down’, ‘Love You Like I Used To’, ‘Armageddon’ and ‘Sunshine’.
Joining Short Stack at each show is Australian pop-punk band Between You & Me, best known for their track ‘Dakota’, which has accrued more than 4.1 million streams across Spotify and YouTube, earning them a combined audience of 160k monthly subscribers.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
