Since first bursting onto the scene with her larger than life debut single ‘too dang good’, PRICIE has kept her fans eagerly wanting more with her unique artistry and bold message of self love and empowerment. Following a string of successful releases and collaborations with the likes of Genesis Owusu, Winston Surfshirt, Isabel Manfredi, and more, PRICIE is now ready to share a more intimate side of her soul, with the release of her highly anticipated debut EP ‘IT’S PRICIE’.

On the release, PRICIE shares “this EP is the first time I get to welcome a closer look at PRICIE, both for myself and the audience. Each song carries a journey and experience of reflection, realisation and acceptance. This EP for me on a personal level represents, and is, the result of immense hard work and creative commitment. I got to collaborate with wonderful creatives and producers I’ve always adored, so this whole EP is my entering into the musical world I call mine.”

The 7 track EP is a culmination of PRICIE’s favourite tracks she’s penned over the last couple of years, and provides a vast palette of the many sides of PRICIE as an artist, whilst taking the listener on a journey of self discovery and acceptance that is so evident throughout.

Opening with the new focus single ‘U, U, and Only U’, the EP kicks off with the flair and charisma for which PRICIE has become known, and sets the tone for the message of selfcare, as lyrically she discusses the need to have your own back. With the messaging flowing through in the softer ballad ‘FAKE LOVE’, PRICIE sings about finding your own way in life, and not letting external pressures or opinions change that trajectory for you. ‘M.O.M (Money On Me)’ is another of the slower paced records on the EP, however, speaks to the idea of not wanting to put up with other people’s bullshit, and that life is infinitely better without clingy love. Conversely, the sophomore single from PRICIE featuring the wonderful Genesis Owusu ‘FRIENDZONE’ details that hard place between knowing the love you want and need, compared to a love that just isn’t right for you. A recently released anthem from the EP ‘BIG GIRLS’ sees PRICIE remind people of all genders, and ages, to first and foremost show up for themselves, with the final realisation of self-love coming through in the closing track ‘IN TRANSIT’, being the arrival to the destination of newness for PRICIE and a celebration of what’s to come.

Backing it up with almighty force, PRICIE then teamed up with Ghanian-Australian darling Genesis Owusu for the release of ‘FRIENDZONE’, solidifying herself as one of the most exciting new artists on the scene. The single again, earning the bright young star a stack of online and radio support across, Acclaim, Brooklyn Vegan, Flaunt Mag, Music Feeds, NME, SPIN,  triple j, BBC Radio 1 Future Artists, Ash London, and more.
