GALE
releases
“ME TIENE”
.

Latin GRAMMY® award winning songwriter GALE (@GALE) kicks off the year with a fearless break up anthem titled “Me Tiene” / listen here // that flips regret into power. It’s playful, confident and sees the Puerto Rican composing prowess celebrate choosing herself. It’s bold, cheeky and liberating. It’s GALE’s most unapologetic yet.

“Me Tiene is a sexy, fun song that celebrates that moment when you realize how good it feels to be with someone who truly loves you, takes care of you, and gives you your place,” GALE shares. “From the very beginning, I knew I wanted it to feel intense and high‑energy. Musically, it lives in the world of synth pop and electro pop: it has a unique, urgent energy that just makes you dance. And yes, it’s also a direct message to that toxic ex, making it clear they’re part of the past.”

The making of the song and footage from a recent Los Angeles pop up concert which saw GALE perform “Me Tiene” for the first time is also featured in a new Uproxx branded video, in partnership with Toyota // watch here // which also debuted online.
This marks the first release since the Puerto Rican bilingual powerhouse delivered her album “Lo Que Puede Pasar.” The 13-track sophomore album opens with “Perspectiva,” the seductive and playful song that sets the tone for this new era. Drenched in pleasure, womanhood, and self-exploration, the track celebrates confidence, sensuality, and the shifting ways we see ourselves in love. Other highlights include the magnetic dance-floor anthem “Pa’ qué te quedas” feat. Danny Ocean and the playful, direct “Ciao!,” which reached #13 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart and has remained on the chart for eleven straight weeks.

Most recently, GALE shared the video for “No Quería Quererte” which shares the story of resisting and surrendering to love. If her debut album “Lo Que No Te Dije” was about the aftermath of love—the things left unsaid—”Lo Que Puede Pasar” is about everything that came next: the thrill, confusion, and beauty of living fully from the heart. The project captures the endless possibilities and unexpected twists that love and relationships bring into our lives. From passion and euphoria, to nostalgia, doubt, and self-discovery, GALE takes listeners through a bold emotional rollercoaster—revealing the beauty of the unknown.
GALE cemented her evolution as one of Latin pop’s most fearless storytellers this past year becoming a Latin GRAMMY® award winning songwriter followed by a whirlwind few years of milestones: a summer tour across Spain, standout festival performances at Boombastic Málaga, Morriña Fest, and Pirineos Sur, and a string of singles that captured both hearts and headlines—earning GALE continued praise as a Rolling Stone “It Girl” and spotlighting her next chapter as “an artist redefining Latin pop’s emotional edge.” GALE also opened sold-out stadium shows for Shakira and Aitana in Medellín, Mexico, and Madrid—marking a defining moment in her career. Beyond her own releases, GALE continues to be one of Latin music’s most in-demand songwriters, penning hits and GRAMMY-winning projects for Shakira and Aitana, Christina Aguilera, Anitta, Manuel Turizo, and Juanes, to name just a few.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
