Drawing on influences ranging from the anthemic sounds of Holly Humberstone, Noah Kahan, and Blake Rose. Jake’s musical evolution reflects a diverse tapestry of inspiration. At age 14, the arrival of a grand piano in Jake’s family home sparked a newfound passion for the instrument, leading him to teach himself how to play by diligently studying chord formations online.
As Jake’s musical journey unfolded, collaborations became a cornerstone of his creative process. A pivotal co-writing session at age 15 ignited a love for collaborative songcraft, while encounters with fellow creatives like producer Josh King further enriched his artistic vision.
SAVING FACE, Jake Stone’s debut EP, offers listeners an intimate glimpse into the complexities of heartbreak and self-discovery. Through poignant lyrics and guitar-driven instrumentals, the EP navigates the emotional terrain of parting ways, capturing the highs and lows of the healing process with raw honesty and vulnerability.
Each song on SAVING FACE reflects Jake’s experiences and observations, woven with universal themes that resonate deeply with audiences.
A guitar-driven break-up anthem, “Late Nights” explores the aftermath of a split, from the constant reliving of memories to uncomfortable encounters with mutual friends. Jake delves into the desire to maintain one’s reputation amidst the fallout of a breakup, highlighting the struggle to move on while grappling with the unresolved issues of the past.

“Hindsight” reflects on a relationship where warnings were ignored, exploring themes of wasted time and toxic behaviour. The song confronts the realisation of being a victim of manipulation, with a climactic moment symbolising the sudden awareness of long-standing issues. “Jake Stone brings a pulsating pop on this! I love hearing the way the energy rises and falls all throughout this piece!” Anika Luna – Triple J
Written about the aftermath of a failed relationship, “Better Alone” captures the resolve to move forward and block out toxic influences. Through gang vocals and candid lyrics, Jake emphasises the scars left by past mistakes and the clarity gained from walking away.
“Jake’s on a real pop treat here, and that chorus is a winner in the way it bursts to life with so much vibrance.” Claire Mooney – Unearthed
“Want to blast this one in a convertible on a highway. Huge singalong energies and glowing pop production.” Steph Hughes – Triple J
“Past Tense” delves into the struggle of accepting a former partner’s newfound independence, juxtaposing feelings of uselessness with the desire to reach out. The song navigates the complexities of closure and moving on with chugging guitars and reflective lyrics.
The EP’s focus single, “Feel It,” portrays the uncertainty and vulnerability of relationships, questioning intentions and addressing the fear of abandonment. Jake captures the emotional turmoil of love lost through vocoder backing vocals and dynamic choruses.
SAVING FACE is now available on all major streaming platforms.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
