About PLEASE STAY
Everyone has experienced doubt in a relationship, where you find yourself questioning your place – be it with a family member, romantic partner or a friend. Please Stay expresses the need to be seen and heard, and a desire to reconnect with a loved one when the relationship is fractured.
Inspired by Lana Del Rey with a twinge of Eva Cassidy, Lucy brings a contemporary edge to light-hearted folk meets soul. Acoustic-inspired, Lucy combines heartfelt vocals with the strumming of a guitar and building arpeggio of the piano to show how there is no need for too many bells and whistles. The simplistic elements enhance the poignancy of the song, and the steadiness and basic style prompt intimacy, intensity and warmth to convey this universal message of longing and heartache.
The VIDEO CLIP for Please Stay explores the fracturing of relationships using the metaphor of two puppies being separated in a puppy farm. Watch below.

About LUCY
Known for her heartfelt and soulful songs, Sydney based singer-songwriter Lucy Burke can win you over with a single chord. Influenced by such acts as The Beatles, Norah Jones, Portishead, Ed Sheeran and Eva Cassidy, Lucy’s sound is diverse.
With a love of songwriting and storytelling, Lucy believes in giving each song its moment in the sun. She delights in collaborating with her band members and her producer to experiment with different genres and styles, allowing the songs to stand on their own. Breaking out of genres, her music includes elements of soft acoustic pop, to jazz, electronic, folk and even funk.
Whether being a soft acoustic ballad in Please Stay or a dramatic epic based narrative fitting for a soundtrack in Calm Before the Storm, to a throwback to the classic jazz ballads of yesteryear in Luckiest Girl, Lucy Burke is not one to be boxed in. Performing with her stellar live band, Lucy has become a premier act in the Sydney music scene and she delights audiences with her varied sound from soft to powerful vocals.
With three studio albums to her name and her debut album being recorded at Abbey Road Studios, a love of songwriting and a passion for music, it is no wonder Lucy has a loyal following, selling out shows at such premier venues as Camelot Lounge, Lazybones and Foundry 616.
Lucy was the featured artist at the Australian Songwriters Awards and was selected to perform at The Sydney Football Stadium in 2017. Featured on Vents Magazine, BMA Mag and several online radio stations/playlists, this songstress is reaching people on a wider international level.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
