Sioban Cotchin’s profile is set to continue its rise around the country with the recent release of her dynamic track, ‘When The Curtains Close’. The single, beautifully built around Cotchin’s personal brand of storytelling and instrumentation, served as a fitting reminder of her status as one of the most exciting new artists to come out of Western Australia in recent years.

And so, refusing to rest on any laurels, Cotchin has announced a slew of live shows that will have her touring throughout her home state, as well as on the East Coast over the next few months!

Selected to support KINGSWOOD on the West and South Australian legs of their record-breaking ‘HOMETOWNS’ tour, Cotchin will also perform exclusive headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, before wrapping things up back in Perth this winter.

The tour announcement is another stride forward for Cotchin, who spent 2022 establishing herself as a formidable live performer, on the radars of many. Following her triumphant wins at the WAM Awards, where she won three awards out of five nominations, Cotchin reaped more praise with her debut headline tour in WA, and multiple shows on the East Coast.

She was a standout discovery at BIGSOUND that September and already in 2023, Cotchin landed on the Laneway Festival lineup in Perth, winning Triple J Unearthed’s local artist competition. All of these experiences have impacted Cotchin’s artistry and approach to the way her music manifests live.

Of this upcoming run of shows, she is excited to learn and develop even further.

“I’m so excited to be on the road again, playing around Australia in places I’ve never been. I’m really looking forward to sharing my music with people that haven’t heard me before, I hope to get some new fans along the way! It’s an honor to be touring with a band as incredible as Kingswood, I can’t wait to just watch their set. It will be a masterclass in touring and performing!”SIOBHAN COTCHIN

“Siobhan Cotchin is writing songs well beyond her years. Along with deeply thoughtful and mature lyricism, her sonic expression is like that of the greats, with the ability to hold regret, agony, and hope within gossamer walls of melody.”
– HAPPY MAGAZINE

“The Boorloo/ Perth singer-songwriter fabricating her own beautiful and refreshing world, an environment in which her story-telling and earnest vocals can thrive and soar.”
