Following up his long-awaited and critically adored 2023 debut full-length Under Utopia, the enchanting ‘Deep Scene’ previews the burgeoning second iteration of the Skeleten project, an increasingly singular blend of alternative electronic and dance music with influences from new age, chill out and city pop that feels more and more like an entire worldview unto itself.

Threading together singles ‘Territory Day’, ‘Sharing the Fire’, ‘Mirrored’, ‘No Drones in the Afterlife’, ‘Walking On Your Name’ and more, Skeleten’s debut LP Under Utopia was released to immediate, rapturous reception from fans and critics alike. Debuting on ARIA’s Physical (#45), Vinyl (#12) and Australian Artist Physical (#10) charts, the record went on to pick up nominations for the 2023 Australian Music Prize, AIR Awards’ 2024 Best Independent Dance or Electronica Album and Album of the Year at FBi Radio’s 2023 SMAC Awards. With blanket feature album placement across Double J and community radio stations around the country, Under Utopia was named at #20 in NME AU’s Top 25 Albums of 2023 as well as Double J’s 50 Best Albums of 2023. Amassing continued and organic streaming growth since release, Under Utopia has propelled Skeleten onto evermore notable support slots, having come off tours supporting the likes of The Streets, SBTRKT, Hot Chip, DJ Seinfeld, Glass Beams, Tirzah and others.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
