Australians are already getting to ready to wine, dine and dance again when So Frenchy So Chic returns for another summer festival of pleasures. In 2018, the beloved garden party, grand picnic and celebration of joie de vivre spreads the love to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, with even more music, food and frivolity – the Frenchy way.

While Féfé, General Elektriks, Juniore, L.E.J and Frànçois & the Atlas Mountains * take the main stage, there’s a lot more to enjoy on the day…

LE MENU

A range of French restaurant pop-ups unique to each city will keep everyone satisfied with mouth-watering authentic menus designed just for this special day.

In Melbourne, the popular Hell of the North will bring a broad range of dishes and an eclectic selection of European wines, while the award-winning Hotel Gitanwill serve up a selection of contemporary French bistro favourites.

For those in need of a tipple as the sun sets, in Adelaide La Buvette Drinkery will be offering the ritual of the aperitif, or pre-dinner drinks, alongside delectable French fare from revered restaurant Cliché.

For Sydneysiders, longtime favourite Bistro Rex will be dishing up their selection of fine dining favourites, while the always tasty Le Village brings a classic French bistro vibe to the festival’s culinary repertoire.

And what garden party would be complete without Champagne? The finest from Laurent Perrier will be chilled and flowing all day, as will French beer, and artisan wines including rosé from Provence, reds and whites from Bordeaux, plus specialty cocktails at the Cointreau Cocktail Bar.

LA BEAUTY

Effortless makeup is synonymous with French style. This year, the Lancôme Lip Bar will be in residence, to help guests to get the French-girl look, emulated worldwide for its natural aesthetic and seductive simplicity.

Festival guests can head to the Lancôme marquee for a free consultation with the skilled national makeup team who will tailor a French-inspired lip to all attendees. The Lancôme Lip Bar will also be offering complimentary Parisian Glow skin treatments, complimenting a statement lip with luminous, glowing skin.

After French makeovers, guests can head over to the Kerastase Braid Bar to finish their look. From boho-luxe to a classic French braid, the complimentary braid bar will add an extra dose of chic to the day. Apart from being a French style staple, the braid is an ideal festival-do, perfect for dancing in the sunshine, adorned with a flower-crown (also available at SFSC) and a fruity summer cocktail in hand.

LES ENFANTS

So Frenchy has always been a family friendly event, with kids 12 and under welcome free of charge. If the tunes aren’t to the taste of little ones, Les Enfants Zone is always full of life. With croquet, life-sized chess, hopscotch, face painting, drumming classes, balloon and bubble making, the young at heart have an endless array of entertainment available throughout the festival.

.

LA JOIE DE VIVRE

In the past decade, So Frenchy So Chic has grown into one of summer’s most hotly anticipated boutique festivals. Created and curated by lovers of French culture for those who share that passion.

There are still some tickets remaining – returning fans and newbies alike will not want to miss out. With so much to taste, imbibe and experience on the sidelines, this promises to be the Frenchiest So Frenchy yet.
