SOFIA GILLANI
releases new single
‘VULNERABILITY’
.
.
‘Vulnerability’ is a song that says exactly what it is – it is emotional vulnerability and emotional intelligence that I’ve built as I’ve developed as an artist. It is centered in a more personal light, and focuses on how it is inevitable to hurt, yet also simultaneously inevitably to heal, so the fear of being vulnerable subsides. It is not a sad song, but rather an empowering realisation of the power of understanding the self and the process of growing, through opening the mindset by undergoing intense but human experiences.

Sofia Gillani began her musical career at just 9 years old; starring as a lead in the musical “Evita” where she sang “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina”. Since then, Sofia has devoted herself to her music through writing, producing, self-promotion and directing music videos, all independently, crafting a sound of her own. She has an impressive collection of singles to her name, including the acclaimed ‘Water Run Dry’, ‘Levels’ and ‘Read Your Mind’ all featured on the BBC Introducing playlist for a number of weeks, as well as ‘Read your Mind’ and ‘Chains’ performed live on BBC Berkshire. Sofia Gillani has performed at numerous events from the main stage at Haslemere Fringe Festival to various HMV stores across the UK, Surrey, Luton and headlining Exeter pride festivals and the Southbank Centre Futuretense event to name a few.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
