Fans can’t get enough of Melbourne trio Something For Kate, who earlier this week announced they’ll be touring the country for the very first time in four years on their special two-set ‘Double Or Nothing’ tour, Echolalia x The Modern Medieval, this September/October.
Due to overwhelming demand in today’s pre-sale, Frontier Touring is pleased to announce the band have added a 2nd Melbourne show to the tour!
Something For Kate will now play back-to-back dates at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 September, with tickets to the Wed 22 show now available in the Frontier Pre-sale (allocation exhausted for Thursday 23rd).
The Echolalia x The Modern Medieval tour kicks off at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday 17 September and Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Saturday 18 September, before heading to their hometown, before the band head to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 8 October, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 9 October.
Tickets for all shows go on sale to the general public on Monday 26 July (12noon local time) via frontiertouring.com/ somethingforkate. These will go fast – don’t wait!
Paul Dempsey, Stephanie Ashworth and Clint Hyndman will go ‘Double or Nothing’ with the Echolalia x The Modern Medieval tour – performing two special sets per show in our country’s most ornate theatre venues.
‘We’ve been unable to tour The Modern Medieval since its release last year and along with Echolalia turning 20 this year, we wanted to find a way to celebrate both albums so we decided to play two sets a night.
We’ll be our own support band!
One set will feature Echolalia in full and the other set will be made up of songs from The Modern Medieval plus a mix of other favourites. This will be a rare and unique Something for Kate tour.We can’t wait for these very special shows.’ – Something For Kate

AMNPLIFY – JC
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
