5:40pm: John Butler

SOTA Festival might be centred around music, but it’s definitely not all that’s on offer. Punters will be kept fed and watered at Synergy Eat Street, with a huge line up of food trucks delivering bites from all corners of the globe. Bar Pop will return to offer beer and cider from Gage Road and wine from Plantagenet Wines to keep everyone refreshed.
The festival has a brand new location this year, with even more revellers now able to enjoy the best of WA music at Burswood Park with picturesque views of the river, Optus Stadium and the CBD in the background. For those making SOTA Festival a family affair, the Bupa Play in WA zone will be active throughout the day, and packed with family activities everyone will love.
SOTA Festival is a collaboration derived from the desire to support, nurture and grow creative opportunities for local artists, and to further position contemporary music as a leading cultural identifier for WA. The popularity and awareness of SOTA continues to grow from year to year and the event is now a key feature on the WA music calendar.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
