SOUTH EAST BEER &
BBQ FEST DROPS
Full Brewer & Beverage Lineup!
.
.
Australia’s biggest beer, BBQ and music festival is heading to SA’s Limestone Coast this summer! Today the South East Beer & BBQ Fest has revealed its full beverage lineup for the upcoming Mt Gambier event happening over the March 9-10 long weekend!
Check out the full brewer lineup over on the Beer & BBQ Fest’s website.
Highlights of the highly-anticipated brewer lineup include Sydney’s Bracket Brewing and One Drop Brewing Co. along with The Mill Brewery and Sure Brewing from Victoria. These cutting-edge Aussie brewers are rarely seen outside major cities! These heavy hitters are joining an all-star crew of local Limestone Coast heroes like Beachport (SA), Little Rippa (SA), Loophole (SA), Noodledoof (VIC) and Mt Gambier’s very own Woolstore (SA) with South Australian stalwarts Pirate Life, Big Shed, Prancing Pony and Mismatch rounding out the beer brands on offer.
Not into beer or cider? You’re sorted all weekend long with plenty of wine, spirits, ciders, hard lemonades and non-alc options on offer. The “Not Beer” lineup for the South East Beer & BBQ Fest includes quality drops from Mt Gambier’s Good Intentions Wine Co (SA), Crooked Tooth (SA) and Limus Wine (SA), plus McLaren Vale’s Slow Lane (SA), and for those up for something a little harder, Mulligan’s (SA) will be serving up ice cold rum and drys all weekend.
But what’s beer without BBQ?
.
.
With the full BBQ lineup will be revealed over the coming weeks, punters can already get those lips smacking over Burn City Smokers (VIC) classic USA low and slow, Whyalla’s Smokey Uppercuts (SA) and Mt Gambier’s own Lumberjack’s BBQ plus a rock star collab between Pirate Life Kitchen’s Rocky Oliveria and the team behind Australia’s best beef, Mayura Station. Filipino BBQ by Sydney’s Hoy Pinoy will be firing up along with Adelaide’s best fried chicken from Cheekies Hot Chicken.
If that’s not enough, there’ll be an unmissable collaboration between SEBBF’s BBQ curators Kirby Shearing (Elementary by Soul Co) and Barossa Valley’s Alana Brabin (Big Bad Wolf), who also curates the menu for the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival in July.
But it doesn’t stop there! The South East Beer & BBQ Festival is much more than beer and BBQ with a live music and entertainment lineup across two stages over the March long weekend!
.
.
Headlining Saturday March 9th will be the all-conquering and hard touring The Smith Street Band, garage rock with a healthy dose of social commentary from Bad//Dreems, Melbourne’s The Pretty Littles, Adelaide’s Blush & LOLA, and Mt Gambian groove disciples Sexy As Shit. Sunday will see Regurgitator headline alongside Geelong’s seminal Magic Dirt. From the APY Lands rising hip hop stars, and fresh off winning five (yes, five) gongs at the South Australian Music Awards, DEM MOB, Adelaide’s electro upstarts Tonix, Street Legal and Mums Favourite plus local heroes Stokes. The whole thing is hosted by Beer & BBQ Fest royalty, Double J’s country outlaw Mr Henry Wagons (who’ll also be strumming some tunes over the weekend).
.
.
The inaugural SEBBF experience will also roll out BMX and skating demonstrations, the Southern Steak Showdown & Backyard BBQ Championships, masterclass panel discussions with brewers and chefs, a hotdog eating contest, axe throwing, a tattoo parlour, markets, a silent disco and the iconic Beer & BBQ Fest’s Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Competition will make its regional debut!
The South East Beer & BBQ Festival is made possible with the support of the South Australian State Government’s Music Development Office. Festival organisers would like to give special thanks for the support of the City of Mt Gambier and Limestone Coast Tourism.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
