Joining a list of iconic artists including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Laufey, today Spacey Jane release an Amazon Music Original cover of ‘Please Come Home For Christmas’ by The Eagles for the streaming services’ Christmas campaign. The song joins a handful of others released by Amazon Music in 2025 to celebrate the upcoming holidays.
Says the band of the track; “We figured the entire point of covering a Christmas song was to take ourselves very un-seriously, so that’s what we did. In saying that, nothing about The Eagles is straightforward so we scratched the studio itch and melted our brains a little in between tours while thinking about Christmas in August. We had fun and we hope you do too!”
Chantelle Georgiou, Head of Label Relations at Amazon Music ANZ added; “Working with Spacey Jane across the year has been a highlight for us and we’re thrilled to have them join our lineup of Amazon Music Holiday Originals. Championing local music is a core part of what we do, and we’re proud to have an Australian band join our incredible line up of Christmas originals this year.”

Last month the band unveiled ‘Estimated Delivery (Magic Megamix)’ featuring fellow Australian singer/rapper Mallrat. The original version of the track appears on the band’s third studio album, If That Makes Sense, which is out now. The album has been nominated for two 2025 ARIA Awards; Best Rock Album and Best Video, and was Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice).
Following their massively successful Australian, North American, UK and European tours, band are back home to perform two exclusive hometown shows at the Fremantle Arts Centre next month, with support from Stella Donnelly and Fool Nelson, tickets here. They’ll also be seen on stages at Rolling Sets, Beyond The Valley, The Great Escape, and AO Live festivals this summer.
The new album follows 2022’s Here Comes Everybody and 2020’s Sunlight. The band became a hometown sensation after the release of Sunlight, topping Triple J’s annual album poll with breakout single ‘Booster Seat’ and earning the ARIA for Song of the Year. Inspired by the success of their debut album, Spacey Jane got to work on their sophomore album, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts and earned them the title of Triple J’s most played artist in 2022.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
