It’s all about mystery, baby! Splendour in the Grass are stoked to finally be able to spill the #tea on that juicy mystery act thats had music lovers scratching their chins for the last month.
Joining the likes of Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, Foals, and SZA at North Byron Parklands this July are psychedelic surf-rock legends OCEAN ALLEY.
The last few years have seen the six-piece move from Sydney’s Northern Beaches best kept secret to mainstays on the international touring circuit and Australia’s most exciting band.
And they’re kind of a big deal. Not only did they produce the biggest triple j Like A Version by an Aussie artist in 2018, they took out the coveted number 1 spot in the hottest 100 of that year with the supremely suave track ‘Confidence’. The track also went on to become an ARIA Top 10 Platinum-certified single.
With two albums under their belt, Lost Tropics (2016) and the critically acclaimed Chiaroscuro (2018) the band continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their infectious and completely compelling sound. They clocked up a massive 96 shows across 10 countries, as well as selling out 15 Australian shows, in the last year!

The boys kicked off 2019 at Falls Festival, joined Tash Sultana on a national tour, and rinsed a closing set at Bluesfest in April. They also dropped new single ‘Stained Glass’, a sneaky taste of what’s to come on album number 3. Now, Ocean Alley are set to blow you away with an epic new live show.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
