‘Grind and Hustle’ is the perfect representation of the nostalgic, feel-good sound that is St. Croix. The Sydney-based DJ and Producer St. Croix has the ingredients necessary to build the perfect disco banger – groove-oriented basslines, catchy brass hooks, rhythmic guitar riffs and powerful vocalists to bring it all together. The success of her previous release with Tinted Records in 2022 has resulted in high anticipation for this next track, as we witnessed ‘All My Lovers feat. Seann Miley Moore’ peak at number five on ARIA Club Charts and earn the support of radio stations across the country. St. Croix draws inspiration for the new single from artists old and new, as she continues to showcase her fresh and modern take on the classic disco genre, with help from another sparkling female star, singer/songwriter, Beks.

St. Croix shares what the single means to her “It feels like dancing under star-filled night, on a European beach during a warm summer night with your nearest and dearest.” And how she enjoyed working with the talented Beks, “Beks came along and wrote the fun, sassy top-line with co-writer, Tragic Sasha, with lyrics that are empowering and inclusive. We had worked with Bekson ‘All My Lovers,’ so we knew she would be a perfect fit to write and sing on this record. Her energy and talent are second-to-none, and she’s a rising star in her own right so it was a privilege to work with her.”
Beks adding “Grind and Hustle couldn’t be a more fitting phrase to accompany my journey as a songwriter and artist. This song is a reminder that although the grind and hustle can feel heavy, tumultuous, and never-ending at times, we should celebrate our unique talents, our drive, and our ability to expand.”
St. Croix will undoubtedly get crowds moving with this one, and we all know her live DJ sets are something to be experienced. Whether you are sipping cocktails on a stunning roof-top bar or hitting the dancefloors, she will have you in a state of frisson. St. Croix has held residencies at some of the biggest venues in Sydney, including the iconic ivy where she was selected to join the local lineup at Glitterbox in January 2023. St. Croix is a staple act at the venue’s premier Disco and House Music night, Boogie.
Brisbane-based singer/songwriter and pop artist Beks has toured Australia and Japan, playing countless live shows, including festivals like Groovin the Moo and Big Pineapple Festival, shaping the artist into a highly engaging performer. With a passion for community and pop culture, Beks made her debut at Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2023, performing to 40,000 people. She has also supported the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Vera Blue. Furthering her success as a solo artist, Beks launched new disco-pop single ‘Devoted’ in 2021, peaking at #3 on the global iTunes dance charts and receiving love from triple j, KIIS, Joy FM and more. Most recently the talented vocalist featured on ‘Follow You’ with Neptunica, amassing 1 million streams in one month, cementing her position as one to watch.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
