As with its predecessors, MASSEDUCTION has earned an ecstatic reception from critics and fans alike. Cracking the Australian top 20, MASSEDUCTION was named the #1 album of 2017 by the likes of The New York Times and The Guardian, who noted “Annie Clark makes a rock-star power play by embracing thrilling glam traditions while producing something strange, new and unequivocally moving.” St. Vincent has also collaborated with the likes of David Byrne, made her debut at the Oscars playing guitar for Sufjan Stevens; and made her directorial debut with a short horror film The Birthday Party.

PRAISE FOR ‘MASSEDUCTION’
“This is St Vincent at her very best.” (Album of the Week) – ★★★★½ The Music
“Masseduction is accessible, but in a distinctly St. Vincent way […] her biggest album yet” – i-D AUNZ
“13 examples of interior corruption, Masseduction has energy and coiled power aplenty – and some more of not just Clark’s great guitar playing but her ability to shape new sounds” – Bernard Zuel
“…Weaving rock, sex, and pop into catchy shapes… writing a record about love, and risking being labelled “insane” in an industry that feeds off patriarchal norms, Annie Clark is changing the goddamn world.” – The BRAG
“St. Vincent writes her most together album without falling apart” – ★★★★ Rolling Stone Australia
“’MASSEDUCTION’ is the best thing she’s ever done and there are no bad St. Vincent records.”– Buzzfeed
“Pop is a vehicle, a form, a challenge, a temptation and an adversary for St. Vincent on ‘MASSEDUCTION.’ Its crisp, catchy but still idiosyncratic songs ponder, among other things, what to make of fame and success.” – The New York Times
“A genuine masterpiece” 9/10 – Drowned In Sound
