Multi-disciplinary artist, Stevan today shares his introspective new single, “On My Mind” out via Astral People Recordings and Honeymoon/+1 Records. Alongside the single, Stevan announces his forthcoming mixtape and debut body of work, Just Kids, which will enter the world on Friday, June 12.
The follow-up to recent track, “No More Regrets”, 2020’s second single “On My Mind” is a laidback pop jam. Premiered on triple j, the track’s reverb-backed drum beat and gently strummed guitar accompany Stevan’s charming vocals that croon “on my mind” to echoes of his own harmonies. A midway rap sidestep enters seamlessly with his effortless and tasteful sound, unveiling another side to the alt-R&B star’s alluring repertoire.
On the release, Stevan says: “We had just played our first interstate show in Brisbane and I was alone in a hotel room. Thinking about where my headspace was at the beginning of the year (2019) and where my state of mind was at that very moment. ‘On My Mind’ is literally a song about the things that were plaguing my thoughts that night at the Rydges Hotel in Brisbane.”
Stevan will unleash his long-awaited mixtape Just Kids on Friday, June 12, marking a sonic home for previous singles “Timee” (which sits on over 2 million global streams), the late-60s feel of “LNT”, endearing love song “Warm”, and the mellowed remedies of “No More Regrets”. A culmination of his own musical progression, while touched by a personal journey through high school and into the industry, the debut full-length release pulls Stevan’s mature acumen and diverse musicality front and centre across a collection of glowing, complex R&B sounds.
Since releasing his debut single Stevan has been added to triple j, gained support from Spotify and Apple Music’s flagship playlists including Front Left and The A-List: Alternative, plus received the titles of FBi Independent Artist of the Week, triple j Unearthed Feature Artist and MTV’s Upload of the Week. The young wunderkind has also collected signings with Astral People Recordings and Honeymoon / +1 Records in America, alongside the likes of Anna of the North and Rejjie Snow. Stevan made his mark on the stage at last year’s BIGSOUND 2019, and has since captivated crowds at Panama Festival, Sound On Festival, Fairgrounds Festival, and across supporting dates with Winston Surfshirt and Omar Apollo.
Most recently, Stevan has been announced to debut his irresistible R&B releases at a career-defining spot on the 2020 Splendour in the Grass Festival line-up. With a fresh collection of music to drop in the meantime, indulge the palate with the new flavour from Stevan in “On My Mind” now.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
