Rising Naarm/Melbourne pop princess Stilla returns to unveil her second single of 2024, ‘ENERGY’. Released on the 19th of July, ENERGY celebrates the themes of self love, romanticising your life and embracing the “main character” mindset – this new single invites you to take “centre stage” of your own story. 

‘ENERGY’ is the second release from Stilla for 2024, which offers listeners a front-row seat to a funky-pop anthem that thrives on a positive vibe. Co-produced by Stilla and Nathan Zammit and mixed by Hayden Lauerson (Tentendo, Sophiya, Boy Soda), ‘ENERGY’ is bound to captivate listeners far and wide due to its unapologetic confidence and message of self-empowerment.

‘ENERGY’ was written in 2022 by Stilla and laid the foundation for the groove-driven pop sound she is known for today. With a knack for seamlessly intertwining metaphors and everyday expressions within her writing, Stilla drew inspiration from the popularity of “main character” memes and TikTok videos across social media. ‘ENERGY’ is a song of affirmation, reminding listeners of their self-worth, self-love, and the importance of respecting boundaries to maintain high energetic vibrations. Focusing on positive energy and self-empowerment, this song serves as an affirmation to manifest your best life.

‘ENERGY’ is the second instalment in 2024 for Stilla, coming off the success of her recent release ‘UNDER THE WEATHER’ which saw Australian music tastemakers such as Backseat Mafia and Women In Music AU  show plenty of love. Since Stilla’s debut release in 2021, she has played an array of key showcases including Sofar Sounds and Breaking Sound – and continues to build her momentum with ALONG THE IVY Showcase in July 2024, playing alongside Jarrod Jeremiah, REX and YNG One.
