SUPERORGANISM ANNOUNCE DEBUT
AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE DATES FOR JULY
– WITH SPECIAL GUEST G FLIP

Adding to their already-announced Splendour in the Grass appearance, London-based collective SUPERORGANISM today reveal details of their first-ever Australian headline shows. The transatlantic eight-piece will head through Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Sunday 22nd July, before stopping into Sydney’s Metro Theatre for an all-ages show on Tuesday 24th July.

Rising to prominence off the back of their technicolour pop single ‘Something For Your M.I.N.D.’, Superorganism have been on a runaway train of success. They have sold out debut shows around the world, been longlisted for BBC Sound of 2018, performed live on Jools Holland, and been championed by both Frank Ocean and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, on their respective radio shows.

With their spectacularly confident debut self-titled album, which was featured by triple j on release last month, Superorganism have taken the world by storm. Album tracks ‘It’s All Good’‘Nobody Cares’‘Everybody Wants To Be Famous’ and ‘Night Time’ are intoxicating curveballs and undeniably worthy follow up gems to their fizzing debut single.

Superorganism’s eight members, international musicians and self-confessed pop culture junkies, hail from Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the UK, and live under one roof in London’s East End. Originally bonding via internet forums rather than geographical location, it’s the band’s new-age sonic appeal that sets them apart.

The indie-pop collective will charm audiences at Primavera Sound, Latitude, Fuji Rock Festival, Lollapalooza and more over the coming months, with a live show that has been touted as

“exuberant, effortless and excellent” – by The Line Of Best Fit.

Joining Superorganism on their Australian dates is local up-and-comer G FLIP. With self-produced debut single ‘About You’, G Flip has gained traction both locally and internationally across the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, Pigeons and Planes, triple j and more. It’s an addictive, bittersweet shard of shimmering pop, inspired by her “hectic, toxic, cinematic” on-off relationship.

Superorganism; get ready to meet your new favourite band when they land in July for their first ever Australian shows.
