Sydney’s heralded singer & songwriter GRAACE returns with brand new single ‘Jealous Type’. Her first release in two years, it’s a pop-perfect return to the limelight for one of Australia’s brightest talents.
The song also arrives with a visualiser, which will be available here.
Some wonderful things can be born out of the quiet, sometimes those in between moments are when the muse strikes and the ideas flow, but sometimes the silence is deafening and you long for the chaos of times past. GRAACE certainly falls into the latter category. Having been through grief, heartbreak and healing whilst “listening to a lot of fucking incredible women”, GRAACE has stepped back into the studio inspired and ready to create.
The brutally honest and utterly relatable ‘Jealous Type’ arrives as the first release to come from a brand-new body of work due out later this year.
The lyrics delve into coming-of-age as an adult: understanding that comparison is the product of insecurity. And the solution? Self-discovery. “I learned in my early twenties that I wasn’t loving all the versions of myself yet” says GRAACE. “I can be a bitch and also be kind. I can be creative and also be lazy. I can be, and do, all of these things. As women, we’re so diverse and I was so sick of being pigeonholed.
“It feels so much more powerful and in tune with myself than a lot of stuff that I’ve released before” GRAACE confesses. “I’ve shielded away from talking about a lot of things in the past, but this time around I wanted to be very candid. I’m accepting that I’m not always the chill partner in a relationship, that sometimes I can become jealous, and that it’s ok to honour those two sides of myself.”
Renowned for expressing her unabashed emotions in her lyrics, GRAACE carries that trait forward into her captivating new project. From her early break back in 2017 with ‘Numb’ with Hayden James, to her EPs ‘Self-Sabotage’ & ‘Self Preservation’, her openness is a notion which has certainly connected, having now racked up over 150 million streams.
This is the beginning of a new, exciting chapter for GRAACE who is about to catapult herself back on to the scene. Fresh from sold out headline dates at the weekend where she aired brand new material, GRAACE will take to the road again in Australia next month supporting Stephen Sanchez. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more new music over the coming months.

More about GRAACE
GRAACE’s breakthrough happened in 2017 when she co-wrote and featured on Hayden James’ platinum-selling electro-pop single ‘Numb’. GRAACE’s sparkling vocals intertwined seamlessly with the club-ready production, making it an instant hit.
Riding high from the success of ‘Numb’, in 2018 GRAACE released her debut ‘Self-Sabotage’ EP, which has amassed 40 million streams to date. In 2019, she shared a trio of singles, the emotional ‘Have Fun at Your Party’, ‘21st Century Love”’ and the raw and introspective ‘Overthink’.
In 2020, GRAACE dropped the moving ‘Hard to Say’ with I.E., a touching tribute to somebody very close to her heart, who sadly took his own life in 2019. Showcasing her musical dexterity, she then switched things up with the hot and heavy electro-pop number ‘Body Language’.
A response to ‘Self-Sabotage’, GRAACE released the melancholic ‘Self Preservation’ EP in 2022. Now, GRAACE is sitting on hundreds of unreleased tracks – and she’s just at the beginning of her new era.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
