DANIEL CHEROTE
releases introspective ode to adulthood
“HEY YOU”

After his huge online success in Germany, DANIEL CHEROTE releases his latest track, Hey You – a reflective, intimate song reminiscent of the likes of Neil Young.
Hey You is dark with acoustic tones and a baritone vocal and personifies the feelings of adulthood, asking all the burning questions we have as we navigate our way through the uncertainty that is growing up.
Hey you, what are you gonna’ do?
When they try to take you away?
Hey you, who you are gonna’ blame?
If it doesn’t come your way?

“The song is an attempt to personify the inevitable dark and unforgiving character that sneaks up on you as you are projected into the unforeseen terror that lies in adulthood,” explains DANIEL.
“The one that has the type of questions you’ve never heard before. The realisation of the impossible, the mortal, the helpless and the losing game. HEY YOU!.. Now that you’re here, what on earth are you going to do about it? Are you going to make it? How much can you take before you lose yourself or your mind? Do you want to be here at all? Who will you be if you fail?”
The song’s accompanying video clip is purposefully haunting, confronting the viewer with DANIEL’s stark eyes and scenes of a dark cloaked character dancing in the woods.
“As we grow older, things start to replace our authenticity. Our jobs, our commitments and our culture. Desperate to feel like we belong, this character manifests itself, looking for answers on the grounds of our alienation.”
Daniel Cherote is a reflective artist, known for bringing forth philosophical conversation through his music. The Australian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has found large streaming success in Germany with his track “It Still Hurts”, which features a German choir.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
