Singer songwriter Tay Oskee has today shared his latest offering ‘Let The Fire Burn’, which received a first play on triple j Home & Hosed; an upbeat and energetic track that reaffirms Tay as a masterful composer of indie folk pop tracks.
In exciting news for fans, Tay has announced his long-awaited debut album Keepers Of The Morning will be released on April 14 via Believe, which also includes previous release ‘Sequioa (Lovers On The Mountain)

Opening with an undeniably catchy whistling melody, giving way to driving guitar strokes, ‘Let The Fire Burn’ is pure road trip bliss and further evidence of Tay’s deep affinity with the outdoors and open spaces.
As Tay explains “I wrote ‘Let The Fire Burn’ to take me back to a simpler time with mates, camping out in nature and having proper deep yarns around the fire. In the moment I wrote the track I had a great realisation that we never truly know what will happen in life so it’s better to do the things you love, because it could all go wrong and if it does, at least ya let the fire burn.”
The clip follows a couple as they explore expansive landscapes, hidden sanctuaries, and forbidden homes; relishing in each other’s company, living moment to moment.

Tay enlisted fan and friend, actor Timothy Granaderos (13 Reasons Why), to feature in the clip, “Tay and I became friends through instagram. I was a fan of his music. So naturally I was stoked when he asked if I wanted to work with him on “Let The Fire Burn.” One of the most important things we wanted to capture in making this music video was this concept of carefreeness. This couple living from moment to moment. Which is kind of how the music video came to be in the first place. My fiancée Kate and I acted in it, and my brother Wil directed, shot, and edited it.”
Keepers Of The Morning is the self-written and entirely self-produced work of art, by undoubtedly one of Australia’s most talented emerging indie folk writers and performers.
The album has been a focus of Tay’s passion since late 2021, when he bought an old sea container and singlehandedly converted it into a recording studio on a farm in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The studio has been Tay’s home for the past year. A place of complete solitude, immersed in the wilderness, with limited phone reception and internet.
The result is as you would expect from an artist that has allowed themselves to be completely immersed in song writing and sounds.
Tay is hitting the road in support of the latest single, with a massive 12-date national tour performing new material from the forthcoming album along with fan favourites. An artist that cut his teeth on busking and live shows, Tay has had understandably itchy feet since touring came off the table in 2020.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
