TEED (formerly Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) has released his bold and assured new album Always With Me, out via Nice Age Records. A luminous and emotional body of work, Always With Me marks a striking new chapter for Orlando Higginbottom, defined by restraint, clarity, and the most open-hearted songwriting of his career. If his early work captured the exhilaration of dancefloor escapism and his 2022 album When the Lights Go wrestled with personal upheaval, Always With Me zooms out for a panoramic look at connection in an increasingly chaotic world.

The album unfolds in two halves: the first orbiting love, longing, desire, and the ache of memory; the second turning inward toward self-awareness and emotional resilience. Largely written in Los Angeles on a single synth, the album’s aesthetic is breezy and beautifully understated; gentle electronic pulses, hazy synths, and pure, unguarded vocals allow the songs’ emotional core to rise to the surface. Higginbottom describes the album as “yearning for connection at the end of the world,” a meditation on how joy and clarity can bloom even in the most uncertain times.

While Always With Me is rooted in the bittersweet nostalgia of childhood summers in France and the euphoria he experienced while first making music, the album isn’t about longing for the past. Instead, it explores how the echo of those formative moments go on to shape adulthood. The result is TEED’s most personal and honest record to date, and the first to officially adopt the pared-back TEED alias, a subtle reset that reflects a more grounded sense of artistry.

The album arrives amid an international run of DJ dates across the US and Australia this fall.
