THE AUTOMATON captivate minds, hearts and souls with their debut album “The Exit”. This Brisbane-based heavy four-piece have dished up a truly dynamic collection of songs, bending genres into a full spectrum of sound . Full of attention-commanding power, attitude, and deeply reflective vocals delivered by the band’s frontwoman Deja Solomona, they enmesh a total synergy with powerful drums, heavy guitar and filthy bass riffs. This record ventures across elements of blues-infused hard rock coupled with a healthy dose of dark stoner riffs, right through to open acoustic guitars almost psychedelic modes. Working closely with Steve Kempnich, under the helm of Ian Haug at the legendary Airlock Studios in Samford, it’s little wonder THE AUTOMATON has put together such a well-written body of work. With a sound that doesn’t strive to carve itself into any specific genre, it creates a path of its own.

With their album release tour dates already underway, THE AUTOMATON have kicked things blistering, hitting the main stage of the Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues Fest, playing to massive crowds. With travel restrictions as they are, the guys are keeping this first run of shows tightly bunched together with plans to take their new album to further country regions once the skies clear a little for national touring.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
