Praise for the COLLIFLOWERS
“With their electric bendy guitar licks and emotionally charged lyrics, watching The Colliflowers play was like witnessing a delightful musical orgy of layered sounds that just worked so damn well.” Stephanie Jewell, The Rockpit
“The Colliflowers sound, a fusion of classic Aussie rock with a sprinkle of indie magic, is the kind of musical elixir that we obsess over here at Happy Mag.” Tammy Moir, Happy Mag
“Big ups, you guys. The blend of smoked out psych and modern Australian rock is done with the same kind of vibe as locals such as Ocean Alley, Vanilla Gorilla and more.” Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J Unearthed
“The type of song that you get lost in and suddenly the whole arvo is gone and the sun is setting.” Declan Byrne, Triple J
“Not hard to see how this could work for a lot of people. Easy, jam band feel with a moreish chorus.” Max Quinn, Triple J

Byron Bay/Northern Rivers indie-rock outfit The Colliflowers continue to captivate audiences nationwide with their electrifying live shows, sun-soaked guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and irresistibly catchy melodies. The 4-piece band—comprising Gary Collocott (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rachael Goddard (drums), Nelson Ludeke (lead guitar), and Alex Pereira (bass)—delivers a dynamic fusion of indie rock, reggae, and pop that has cemented their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming acts.
Renowned for their high-energy performances, The Colliflowers have spent the past year tearing up stages nationwide—selling out headline shows, touring with DICE and The Vanns, and playing festivals including Spaced Out (QLD), Tone City Records Festival (WA), and Byron Music Festival (NSW). Now, they’re gearing up for an even bigger year, kicking off 2025 with an East Coast Headline tour, bringing their high-octane live show to stages up and down the coastline.

Starting 2025 strong with their first release of the year, ‘Streets’, The Colliflowers deliver an indie rock anthem that blends the energy of Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Rions while staying true to their signature sound. Written in, and about, a collection of Australian cities while on a demanding tour schedule in 2024, ‘Streets’ is a modern rock track dedicated to the bright lights of the big city and howthey’ll never quite beat the creeks and cattle sheds of home. The track deep dives into a love affair that the band endures while visiting the big smoke and how easy it is to be swept away in the thrill of it all.
Keeping in line with the song’s theme, it only seemed right to have the song recorded as close to home as possible at SCU Studios in Lismore, NSW. In addition to having the recording take place locally, The Colliflowers took a more stripped-back approach to recording, deciding to minimise production and exclusively use instruments and physical sound sources for the creation of the track. ‘Streets’ once again features the huge, roomy drum sound of Rachael Goddard, which has become a staple in The Colliflowers’ music over the years, as well as a punchy, yet melodic bassline from Alex Periera, cruisy sing-along vocals of Gary Collocott and a wall of guitars from Nelson Ludeke. Engineered by Steve Law and Mixed by Central Coast producer Jack Nigro, who has been responsible for past releases such as ‘Devil’s Child’ and ‘Let Me Go’, audiences can expect another high-energy track that’s sure to become a playlist favourite and setlist staple.

“Touring Australia with DICE and The VANNS took us to so many cities and towns that completely blew us away. Coming from a small rural town, we were amazed by how easily accessible everything was and how great the suburban vibes felt. We would always comment on how sick it would be to live in these areas but then questioned it as soon as we returned back to the Northern Rivers – there’s just no place like home.” – The Colliflowers
Whether it be from The Colliflowers’ live show, or from their prolific social media presence which has garnered over 2.6 million views on TikTok and over 163,000 streams in the last 12 months on Spotify alone, The Colliflowers are certainly making a name for themselves in the Australian independent music scene. Previous releases from the Byron Bay band have had airtime on national radio, including Triple J and Triple J Unearthed and with ‘Streets’ shaping up to be another massive release, don’t get caught sleeping on The Colliflowers!
The Colliflowers release ‘Streets’ on all platforms on February 21st 2025 followed by an exciting one-take music video in their hometown on February 28th 2025.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
