sell-out another
Australian show& Announce support act
“Displaying the lean mean belligerence of artists half their age, the band bring a brutish level of distortion and energy to a tight 90-minute set.” The Guardian (UK)
“It was clear that The Cult, after all these years, still knew how to take an audience on a journey, to the clouds, the moon, and back down to the fire in their soul with their unique brand of rock ‘n’ roll.” Metal Planet Hall (UK)
“The Cult’s 8424 Tour is a testament to their enduring legacy in rock music. With a setlist that perfectly balanced their classic hits with deeper cuts, they delivered a show that was equal nostalgia and raw power.” Crucial Rhythm Magazine (CANADA)
TEG [MJR] have announced that the Adelaide show for THE CULT has sold out. The highly anticipated Australian tour from the British indie rock legends hits our shores this weekend with first show kicking off in Melbourne on Saturday.
THE CULT has been selling out shows across Australia including two sold out ones in Sydney as well as Brisbane. Due to overwhelming demand, they added a third Sydney show and upgraded their Melbourne show to a bigger venue.
Support act Mayatrix & The Psychics has been confirmed for all shows except the Sydney Opera House. Mayatrix & The Psychics (fka MOANA) are a spellbinding, cosmic force of nature and conjure the raw heft of rock, infusing it with a psychedelic elixir that is 2-parts surreal and 3-parts big- time sensuality. On stage, they come-on like a fever dream, dazzling audiences with their electrifying and theatrical stagecraft. This has earned them a devoted fan base around the world, resulting in key support slots for the likes of Venom Inc., Ocean Alley, Abbe May, The Tea Party and End Of Fashion.
THE CULT is packing out shows overseas to rave reviews and the band is in a renaissance moment. This can be attributed to their consistent touring, quality of live performances as well as their last four album releases that are lyrically potent, along with their curated visual narrative. And not to mention the UK DEATH CULT shows which burned down houses from London to Manchester, Glasgow to Dublin et all…
The band returned to Portugal a few months back to headline a major festival (replacing Queens of the Stone Age), then turned around and immediately ripped across Canada with shows selling out everywhere.
THE CULT is one of the most influential bands of all time and their Australian tour will see the band perform songs spanning their 11-album discography and commemorate four decades of a groundbreaking catalogue of songs.
THE CULT – founding singer Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy, with drummer John Tempesta and bassist Charlie Jones (Goldfrapp, Page and Plant) and they’re at the peak of their powers.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
