Multi-platinum UK rock royalty The Darkness are set to make their triumphant return to Australia and New Zealand in February, 2026 for an epic run of summer shows, hitting Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Fremantle, Frankston and Melbourne, plus two big nights in Auckland and Wellington.
Following their massive 2024 Permission To Land 20th anniversary tour, the band are bringing their signature high-voltage energy and outrageous fun back to stages, serving up fan favourites from their iconic catalogue alongside new songs from their latest album Dreams On Toast.
Exploding onto the scene in 2003 with their now-classic debut Permission To Land, The Darkness quickly became one of the UK’s most beloved rock bands. With over 1.5 million albums sold in the UK alone and a haul of major awards, including three BRIT Awards for Best British Group, Best British Rock Act, and Best British Album (Permission To Land), two Kerrang! Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award for Songwriters of the Year, they’ve given us hits like “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” and “Love Is Only A Feeling” – songs that still spark massive singalongs from fans old and new across the globe.
