The biggest week of The Dreggs’ career so far.
Very excited to announce that The Dreggs’ sophomore album ‘The Art of Uncommon Practice’ will be released independently on Friday the 25th July, with pre-orders going live today.
Today also sees the release of the The Dreggs’ brand new single ‘Get Knocked Down’, an energetic, driving track that pushes the band into new sonic territory whilst still maintaining the group’s signature sing-a-long moments that they are fast becoming renowned for. ‘Get Knocked Down’ was co-written and co-produced with Matt Corby and Chris Collins. (Private stream / WAV).

“Get Knocked Down is all about the experiences of getting older. Some embrace it with open arms, while others struggle with the concept of aging. It’s a song that touches on the internal conflict about the balance of feeling older while understanding that getting older doesn’t mean you are running out of time. It’s a song about reminding yourself that while reminiscing on past times may lead to feeling older, it’s also important to accept that there is still time to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. “ – Paddy.
Today’s album announce and single release are excitingly accompanied by an Australian Headline Tour announcement for this July. Supported by the rapidly-rising South Summit and dream-pop talent Holly Hebe, the tour will land in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane and is proudly presented by triple j.
If the above announcements weren’t enough, The Dreggs TOOK on triple j Like A Version last Friday for the first time in their career.
2025 is set to be The Dreggs biggest year to date with a number of high-profile festival appearances having already taking place (including Party in the Paddock and Yours and Owls), and a bunch more main-stage festival slots soon to be announced. The band will also be performing headline shows across UK, Europe, Canada and the United States (announcing soon!).
In 2024, The Dreggs sold over 20,000 headline tickets across Australia as well as selling out headline shows across Europe and the UK. Their single ‘Give Myself to You’ went platinum in Australia (independently released) and they performed to huge sing-a-along crowds at numerous iconic festivals and headline shows across the country.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
