Australia’s newest touring festival, The Drop is gearing up to kick off this Saturday, hitting the shores of D’Bah near Snapper Rocks, Torquay near Bells Beach and glorious Margaret River alongside the Australian leg of the World Surf League Championship Tour.
The Drop will take place on the first weekend of each coinciding surfing event and will appeal to surfing and music fans alike, showcasing local culture, food and beverage vendors and a shared love of the ocean.
The Drop founding partner and Australian surfing legend Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew said “Super pumped for the next couple weeks of hosting the best of the best in Cooly and around the country. My son told me his whole class is coming to The Drop. Now I know for sure the line-up of talent is sick!!!!”
Check out Rabbit and San Cisco’s Jordi Davieson going for a surf at Snapper a few weeks back. And find out what some of the WSL surfers really think about Aussie music.

ENVIRONMENTAL SPIRIT
B-Alternative is a grassroots, environmental solutions group shaking things up at festivals, markets, schools and any event where the focus is shifting to a more sustainable, planet positive future!
They provide practical eco-friendly solutions to everyday living – sourcing and supplying truly compostable products and packaging, raising awareness through facilitated environmentally focused conversation in schools and social events and providing sustainable festival/event waste management.
At The Drop Festival 2018, they are supporting our aim to reduce landfill waste and getting us on board the zero waste movement. Their presence will remind us to party with the planet, not against it!
