“The Growlers are still masters of blending catchy pop choruses with dark, sleazy grooves.” – DIY MAG
“Some bands just ooze cool. The proudly independent LA band The Growlers serve up an infectious combo of new wave, disco and indie rock.” – NPR
“The Growlers are well and truly on their way to establishing themselves as the biggest underground bands in the world.” – LIFE WITHOUT ANDY

The Growlers are set to return to Australia next month for their biggest run of headline shows to date and today announce that they will be bringing some very special friends/fiends from the Los Angeles underground along for the ride. Starcrawler will make their live Australian debut and join The Growlers for all twelve dates along our golden coastline in what is destined to be a travelling circus of mayhem and madness. The Natural Affair tour kicks off on January 4, stopping in most big centres and surf breaks across QLD, NSW and VIC. Tickets on sale now via www.lovepolice.com.au.
Starcrawler (‘I Love LA’), is a band possessed by the spirit of its own hometown of LA, every movement charged with a primal and manic electricity. The band just released their remarkable second album ‘Devour You’, a record that dynamically captures the essence and aggression of their gloriously unhinged live shows.
Australia is the first leg of The Growlers mammoth 2020 lap of the globe which so far includes some 50 headline dates scheduled across the UK and Europe plus North America and Mexico with MORE shows and major festivals still yet to be announced. The tour celebrates The Growlers recently released sixth proper studio album Natural Affair which includes their gloriously twisted new single ‘Social Man’ and is out now via the band’s very own Beach Goth Records and Tapes.
The Growlers’ lead singer Brooks Nielsen recently spoke to Beat about the fast approaching tour and why they keep coming back to Australia year after year “It really feels like our early shows when we were at home. Just [that] surfer kids’ scene, a lot of DIY house parties, young kids, it really feels similar in Australia. And rowdy,” Nielsen said. “We’ve done this for a long time and I just wanna keep it interesting, keep it weird and keep it entertaining for our fans. I want them to count on it.”

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
