Melbourne Funk/World Music Group The Natural Culture (TNC) will be funking up The Catfish alongside friends Conte Milano and Speakeasy on March 11th 2023. Following on with the success of their recent ‘One Night Only’ tour that saw them traverse the Australian continent last spring, they are continuing to keep live music on the streets and allowing their live audiences to have a sneak peek into the songs that will be featured on their next release.

The band speaks on the upcoming show: “We are beyond excited to be back playing in our hometown Melbourne once again. We love this town and the people always return the love every time we play here. If you are into a fun, energetic night of funky rhythms, soulful vocals and a New Orleans second-line crossed with a Caribbean beach party, this is a show not to be missed!”

Conte Milano is a Berlin born, Melbourne based street performer, multi instrumentalist, DJ and producer. With a portable setup of synthesizers, electric guitars and vintage effect pedals, he explores a variety of styles from organic house to downtempo with funky guitars, warm analogue synths and singing guitar solos.

Speakeasy like to hang wherever funk and soul collide with pub-rock. Soulful vocals, funk grooves, dirty horns and the occasional rapper combine in their original songs, creating the new genre of pub- funk. They’re at home making noise in a crowded pub or rattling the glassware in a blues venue.

Sowing their creative seeds to grow and nurture a brighter future, The Natural Culture have toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and Asia taking stages of all sizes by storm with a commendable repertoire under their proverbial belt.
