Alt-Indie, Roots, Hip-Hop and Experimental Electronic artists will bring a lively, dual-stage festival to one of the new event spaces at the Old Royal Adelaide Hospital. Market stalls, Break-Dancing, Vinyl Distros, Exhibitions and Food Trucks will join us while we re-acquaint you with the culture and sounds of innovative and energetic roots and experimental beats from around the world. This tasteful genre-defying line up aims to engage the audience with music, visual art and street performers while demonstrating new live instrumentation of the electronic and roots crossover.

Local companies Hills Cider, Mismatch Brewing and Unico Zelo Wines will be flowing through the newly acquainted event space, bringing a festive and exhilarating experience to all the senses.

With the recent closure of the RAH, Root Down will be marked as the first music-based festival to step into the old hospital site and to get creative with the new spaces.
