“Delivering a message of encouragement to stay positive though rough times, the track offers a wide array of interesting sounds, mixing live and electronic sections seamlessly behind beautiful layered vocal harmonies and a driving beat.” – Blank Magazine – You’re Not Alone SINGLE REVIEW, 25 Feb 2021
“It’s got some pretty good harmonies… so unique and different. It just grew on me – it’s like a peaceful chill record with a little bit of Depeche Mode mixed in. 8.5/10” – Local Band Smokeout – You’re Not Alone SINGLE REVIEW, 19 Mar 2021

Following their recent single “You’re Not Alone”, Gold Coast alt rockers The Silencio amp it up to majestic levels with their new prog anthem “Crossroads”, an epic ode with soaring orchestral moments which is slated for release on March 26.

Hot off the heels of their recent sold-out show on the Gold Coast, The Silencio have been announced to play with Jay Brown (Sunk Loto, Electric Horse) at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh on April 9 – tickets are on sale now.
“Who did I used to be and where am I going now?
We have come to a crossroads and I’m treading water…”
The Silencio – Crossroads
The video is directed by D.O. Blackley from Her Name Is Murder Productions (Sepultura, RedHook, Alpha Wolf); a reflection on times of isolation and lockdowns, the band members are each performing separately at home with performance footage interspersed with escapist nature shots.
Another taster from their sessions at Core Studios with Nik Carpenter at the helm, “Crossroads” will feature on the bands forthcoming sophomore album, which they plan to drip-feed each song with an official music video before they release the album in its entirety (due late 2021).

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
