Mushroom Group are pleased to announce PLAYBACK, a special episode of The State of Music – INTRODUCING series. The episode will showcase four performances from the initial The State of Music series, and never before seen artist interviews. It will stream this Friday at 7:30pm AEST via the Victoria Together Facebook, YouTube and website together.vic.gov.au.
An exciting component of series one of The State of Music was the introduction of some of Victoria’s hottest emerging talent, providing a platform for them to perform and gain exposure. PLAYBACK will reprise the amazing performances of Mia Wray’s ‘I Am Woman’, Fergus James’ ‘Good Man’ feat. D’arcy Spiller, and Didirri’s stunning rendition of ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’.
Also showcased in this Friday’s PLAYBACK, and back by popular demand, is Shannen James’ incredible performance in ‘She Has To Be Loved’ from The State of Music Mother’s Day episode. The collaboration – which starred an all-female line up of Abby Dobson, Deborah Conway, Hatchie and Emily Wurramara – was a huge fan favourite and an outstanding tribute to ARIA award-winning singer-songwriter Jenny Morris.
PLAYBACK will also feature The State of Music series one host Jane Gazzo interviewing Mia Wray, Didirri and Shannen James.
With increased restrictions due to COVID-19, production surrounding The State of Music – INTRODUCING has adapted to remain in line with health and safety guidelines. PLAYBACK will allow for additional production time on the remaining two INTRODUCING episodes to be delivered.
Music fans, be sure to tune in for this week’s special PLAYBACK edition of The State of Music – INTRODUCING, streaming this Friday 4 September via the Victoria Together Facebook, YouTube and website together.vic.gov.au.

AMNPLIFY – DB
My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
