HERE“It’s been a longtime between studio drinks, 20 years in fact since The Superjesus have released a full length album of new music and today they launch one of their finest. It’s no surprise that they’ve decided it would be self-titled, it perfectly encapsulates the band’s spirit and energy.” Australian Musician
“…this could very well be my Australian release of 2025!” The Rock Pit
“…a beautifully constructed slab of music from The Superjesus” Heavy
“…might have taken a few small decades for this latest outing, but it’s worth the wait…” Hear2Zen
Beloved Adelaide rockers The Superjesus return with their new self-titled record, their first full album in 20 years. It’s packed with killer singles from the last 12-18 months – latest single and airplay hit ‘Diamonds’, ‘Money (We’re Only In It For Love), ‘Lights Out’, ‘We Won’t Let Go Until It’s Over’, ‘Something Good’ and a cover of Generation X’s ‘Dancing With Myself’.
Sarah McLeod said, “There’s a lot of joy in the Superjesus camp, laced with relief and pride. We’ve worked so hard on this, it’s surreal to see it out. We’re also quite taken a back at how much support we are receiving . We’re lucky to still be making music after all this time and that is a testament to the loyalty and patience of our fans! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts we love you guys.”
After 30 years of crafting their sound, the songwriting partnership of Sarah McLeod and Stuart Rudd has truly found its sweet spot. Rudd says, “Our writing partnership together has blossomed into a fantastic place to be creative.”
The Superjesus will showcase the new album with a national tour commencing on June 6 at The Crowbar in Sydney, followed by Avalon RSL, Corner Hotel in Melbourne, Barwon Heads Hotel, The Crowbar in Brisbane, Norton Music Factory, Sunshine Coast, Duncraig and Perth, and winding up at legendary live music venue, The Bridgeway, Adelaide. Tickets are on sale now at thesuperjesus.com.
The Superjesus have held their place as one of the countries most respected live bands for almost 30 years. Emerging in the late 90’s and signing to Warner Music worldwide, they released 3 classic albums – Sumo, Jet Age and Rock Music, two of which went platinum. The 3 x ARIA Award winners took a hiatus in the mid 2000’s to work on solo projects and re-emerged in 2013 to test the waters. Pleased to have found themselves well received by the public they headed back into the studio for 2016’s EP Love And Violence followed by a double live album.
The South Australian Music Hall Of Fame inductees have a strong work ethic and an ear for a good hook. With hits such as ‘Gravity’, ‘Secret Agent Man’, ‘Down Again’ and ‘Now And Then’ under their belt their songwriting has always remained their strong point.
The Superjesus are back stronger than ever and according to Rudd “not going anywhere anytime soon”. McLeod says “For us the magic is in the creation of the music and as a band we have found this process very soul enriching, I truly feel it is our best work yet, I love every song on this record”.

AMNPLIFY – DB

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
