That’s right folks; PBS 106.7FM are dusting off the placemats and laying out their finest silverware ready for you to Feast Your Ears on a 2018 membership in the most important fundraiser of the year – Radio Festival. Taking place from Monday 14 until Sunday 27 May, the 2018 Radio Fest is set to be an almighty banquet and the station is inviting you to the table.

Local champions Music Victoria recently unearthed the results from last year’s Melbourne Live Music Census, stating

“more music fans in Melbourne listen to community/public radio stations than any commercial station. This happens in no other major city in the world.”

This, along with the findings that more Melburnians attended live music events than AFL matches in 2017, proves the need to keep community radio around for another bountiful harvest and it’s up to us, the members, to keep the crop growing.
