“Another hearty slice from The VANNS which will have you weak at the knees. These guys are born for the big stage!” – Triple J, Declan Byrne (‘Feels Good Now’, 2021)
“’Feels Good Now’ leans a little more into the jammier side of the band’s DNA but it’s still got that arena-sized energy that has made The VANNS such a talked-about live act.” – Triple J, Al Newstead
“I knew The VANNS had the hair to pull off a Jeff Buckley homage but now Jimmy’s showing he’s got the voice to match? Those tender moments are great but then the way that the track unfurls a righteous groove really sealed it for me. If you didn’t know, this band’s the real deal.” – Triple J Unearthed, Dave Ruby Howe (‘Feels Good Now’, 2021)
‘…the release opens with frontman Jimmy Vann’s soulful vocals, the enriching track brings glistening guitar work playing out atop superb production.’ – Milky Milky Milky (‘Feels Good Now’, 2021)
“…the four-piece have grown to become a quintessential name to the Australian rock scene and the many pockets of brilliance it contains.” – Pilerats

The VANNS this week announce their plans to get their national tour back on the road, rescheduling the remaining east coast shows for early 2022.
After growing restrictions forced the South Coast group to put a pause on live shows just as their Australian jaunt was picking up steam, their team has been working hard to move the puzzle pieces around, so The VANNS can get back to doing what they do best.
With their latest single ‘Feels Good Now’ filling the void (well too, nabbing the #1 Most Played song on triple j over recent weeks), The VANNS are excited to be back on stages in March and April; even more so to add that their tour mates Eliza & The Delusionals will be rejoining them to see out the rest of the Australian shows.
Anyone who has been following The VANNS over the last few years will know how important these tour dates are for the band. Originally announced around the release of their track ‘Red Light’, the onset of the pandemic has seen these shows postponed, rescheduled and postponed again multiple times.
The return of The VANNS to live touring this year was a massive achievement for the group, and it’s a victory lap of sorts they can’t wait to complete.
“A lot of these shows on the tour are happening two years after their originally scheduled dates. We never wanted to cancel the tour, and it’s gone through the wringer in terms of postponements because we always knew that as soon as we could get back to touring, it would be the first thing we do. Suffice to say, we are so damn excited to play. ‘Can’t wait’ feels like an understatement.” Cameron Little, The VANNS
Along with the already announced shows, The VANNS have added extra tickets for their Melbourne show at the Corner Hotel, as well as in Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney – the latter of these moving to the Manning Bar. Already purchased tickets will be honoured at these gigs, with refunds available for those who can no longer attend – with over 6000 tickets sold.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
Amnplify your experience. That is what we want you to do here, and if you want to let me know why you do, or don’t, shoot me a message on Facebook.
Hope you enjoy yourself here and find something that hits you somewhere.
