Over the April public holidays, Touch Sensitive (Michael Di Francesco) will fire up your free time with his Endless Weekend Tour. Join Australia’s favourite pizza guy as he ignites the stage with bass in hand and keyboard in tow from Good Friday to Easter Sunday and Anzac Day eve, at some of the country’s most iconic live venues, promising his slew of groove-drenched hits and high energy. Returning to accompany Michael on stage is his full live band, featuring Californian funk-maker Harriet Brown.
Kicking the endless weekend off on Friday, April 19 at Melbourne’s 170 Russell, Touch Sensitive will then back things up at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Saturday, April 20 before venturing north to Brisbane’s The Triffid on Sunday, April 21. Returning Wednesday, April 24 to The Metro Theatre in Sydney, fans can lose themselves to his signature nostalgIa-tinged disco-house before the tour finale electrifies Perth’s Jack Rabbit Slims on Friday, April 26.
Joining him on the road and warming up the crowd across all shows, are none other than Melbourne’s own Billy Davis & Sydney producer/vocalist CLYPSO. Known for his neo-soul/hip hop fusion, Billy Davis has stamped himself as a unique talent on the Australian musical landscape, having shared the stage with the likes of Anderson Paak, NoName and Blackalicious. He will be joined by CLYPSO when she brings her signature “troppo chili flakes” to stages across the country. Having performed at Listen Out, Spilt Milk, Festival of the Sun, Lost Paradise, Meredith Festival and most recently her own Cameo Tour, audiences will soon see that a CLYPSO show is unlike any other, hyping crowds with her brand of jungle-infused troptronica & grimey bass lines.

The tour announcement arrives in wake of Touch Sensitive’s latest slice of infectious rhythms, “G.A.L.”feat. Daniel Wilson – the first release since his widely acclaimed debut album Visions. The full-length LP received rave reviews from Rolling Stone, Herald Sun, The Age, scored him a sold-out national album tour, and has collectively clocked over 25 million streams to date. The ARIA certified Gold lead single “Lay Down” debuted at #1 on the Hype Machine Charts and landed the #31 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown. It was followed by irresistible cuts “No Other High” feat. Electric Fields and “Lose It All”, set to be crowd favourites once again this Autumn.
Since the release of his 2013 breakout single “Pizza Guy”, Touch Sensitive’s inimitable ear for contemporary grooves fused with classic disco has made him an enduring festival favourite, having electrified stages at Splendour in the Grass, Listen Out, Field Day, Laneway, Mountain Sounds, Beyond the Valley, and Falls Festival. A debut US tour with his full live band last year cemented an expansion to international acclaim, following supports for RÜFÜS DU SOL and Flume and US festival appearances.
Described as Future Classic’s “spirit animal”, Touch Sensitive is arguably one of the country’s most beloved producers and live performers. Pre Sale tickets for the tour will run from Thursday 21 February 11am – Friday 22 February 10am local time, with General Release on sale from Friday 22 February 11am local time. With another stellar year of new music to come, be sure to grab tickets and spend your weekend right with the full live experience of Touch Sensitive this April.
