Rockhopper Records has partnered with Leaps and Bounds Music Festival and gathered their most talented friends to bring you an afternoon of popping tunes and pop-up stalls at Music-Mart.
This is your chance to discover Melbourne’s best emerging pop artists with live sets from Yeo, Yi-Lynn, Audition Tape, Stella Farnan and Vertex.
Wander the market in between sets to check-out art, ceramics, zines, streetwear and food made by local creatives. Stalls include Rockhopper Records, Linh Ceramics, Working From Home and friends, Glom Press, urbigfrog plus delicious West African food.
You can wash all the goodness down with Melbourne’s tastiest non-alcoholic beer by UpFlow Brewing.
Rockhopper Records is an independent record label based in Richmond that was started to inspire and support musicians and other creatives from diverse communities. You’ll find a strong representation of Melbourne’s talented Asian Australian creatives at Music-Mart, including the headlining act, Yeo.

Music-Mart is one of three events in the Labels Live Series presented by the City of Yarra’s Leaps and Bounds Music Festival. The Labels Live series showcases independent record labels based in the City of Yarra.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
